Woven mesh wire provides superior safety compared to smooth wire strands, though at a higher cost. While more challenging to install and with some visibility limitations, its design significantly reduces the risk of horses becoming entangled or injured upon impact. For enhanced visibility and durability, we recommend adding a top rail of wood or synthetic material, which also prevents bending from horses leaning over the fence. Incorporating an electric fence strand can further deter horses from pushing against the mesh structure.

Our fencing solutions utilize heavy-gauge woven wire (not welded) with mesh squares specifically sized to prevent hoof entrapment. We offer safer "field fence" or "no-climb" designs rather than the more hazardous widely woven alternatives. While chain link is available, its limited durability against horse pressure often makes it less cost-effective than premium woven wire options.
